Unknown assailants fired shots at the former Telecom director. South African journalist awarded for the best investigative article. Ruling DPS negotiates new majority Albanian municipality.
Former director of Montenegrin Telekom and university professor, Oleg Obradovic, was wounded after unknown assailants fired several shots, Podgorica police said. Obradovic was shot in the leg and his life was not endangered.
Annual award for investigative journalism “Dusko Jovanovic”, with main prize of 10,000 euros, was won by a team of journalists team from South Africa led by Stefan Hofstater. Journalists trio revealed the elite unit of detectives who killed over 1,000 people.
Annexes of the ruling Democratic Party of Socialists and the Albanian Party of force, which should be signed by the end of next month, means granting the status of municipality to a majority Albanian town of Tuzi, near the capital Podgorica.
