Parliamentary committee supports candidates for the Montenegrin ambassador to Macedonia. No one is blamed for the deaths of three pilots in 2011. I will ask for the harshest penalty for the death of a baby in Bijelo Polje, PM says.
The Committee on International Relations and Emigrants approved the candidacy of Predrag Mitrovic for the ambassador of Montenegro in Macedonia. He will perform his duties on a residential basis, with a headquarters in Skopje. Support for Mitrovic was unanimous.
An investigation conducted by the High State Prosecutor’s Office in Podgorica has not found anyone responsible for the deaths of three airmen from Montenegro in 2011. They were killed in a military helicopter crash on September 2, 2011, 500 metres south of the bay of Dobrec, on the Lustica peninsula, during a regular training flight.
We have become aware that any failure in providing the necessary care to patients is absolutely unacceptable, Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said during the the so-called “Prime Minister’s hour” in the Assembly on Wednesday. The tragedy of losing one recently-started life is a failure which Montenegrin society cannot afford and will not tolerate, he added.
