Montenegro Press Review – October 29, 2014

Women Network treats ministers with maternity breakfast. Army of Montenegro stays in Afghanistan. Montenegro promotes gender equality at workplace.

Women Activists of the Movement for Change Network treated Tuesday the Montenegrin ministers with more than a modest breakfast, preparde for the new mothers in the Clinical Center of Montenegro. Ativists protested because the breakfast fore the new mothers in the largest medical institution in the country is consisted of two slices of bread and a slice of salami.

Montenegro is ready to continue its engagement in Afghanistan in a new mission after 2014, the Defence Minister Milica Pejanovic Djurisic said on Tuesday. She said that in terms of the intense and focused dialogue with NATO, reforms in the security and intelligence sector in Montenegro will be another area of additional and enhanced efforts in achieving the best international standards.

The goal is the zero tolerance of discrimination in the Montenegrin society. For this we have potential and the political will and good laws, and I am sure that we will persevere in this path, the Minister for Human and Minority Rights Suad Numanovic said.
