Secretary General Damir Davidovic to leave parliament. Montenegro to sign loan agreement on financing highway’s construction. The state needs a national film fund.

The Secretary General of the Assembly Damir Davidovic has announced that he will leave parliament to focus on his personal commitments and possible involvement in private business. Davidovic informed the leadership of the Assembly, and a number of MPS, stating that he is leaving the office for personal reasons.

Montenegro’s finance and transport ministers, Radoje Zugic and Ivan Brajovic, will held a press conference on the occasion of signing the loan agreement with the Chinese Exim Bank on financing the construction of the Bar-Boljare highway, that is its priority section Smokovac-Uvac-Matesevo. At its session of 16 October 2014, Montenegro’s Cabinet approved the information on negotiations with the Chinese Exim Bank on concluding a financial arrangement for the construction of the highway’s priority section and authorised Finance Minister Radoje Zugic will sign the contract on behalf of the Montenegrin government.

Montenegro’s candidate for an Oscar, the movie “Boys from the Marx and Engels Street” will be released on November 26 in the capital Podgorica. Director Nikola Vukcevic said that working on the film he tried to animate the Montenegrin authorities to provide local directors support for the national film fund and the functional law of cinema.
