The real growth of the gross domestic product (GDP) of Montenegro, according to preliminary data of Monstat, was 1.3 percent in the third quarter.
Monstat announced that the GDP in the third quarter amounted to 1.13 billion euros while in the same period last year it amounted to 1.1 billion euros.
The real growth rate of GDP in the second quarter of this year compared to the same period last year amounted to 0.3 percent.
Montenegro’s GDP last year grew 3.3 percent to 3.33 billion euros, while in 2012 it was 3.15 billion euros.
GDP per capita last year was around 5.36 thousand euros while in 2012 it was 5.07 thousand euros.
GDP measures the total value of goods and services provided that were produced by resident institutional units.
