Citizen of Bar Zeljko Vukoslavcevic (40) was most likely killed because of unsettled personal issues, and not in a mob ambush. This suspicion is confirmed by first results of a thorough investigation, which are indicating that Vukoslavcevic and for now unkown killer knew each other.

The murdered citizen of Bar, who was in prison until recently due to violent behavior, was killed two nights ago around 11:20 pm, in front of the building where he lives, in Jovana Tomasevica street.

Had a helper on a bike

First information indicate that the murderer drove himself with another person on the motorbike to the address where Vuksolavcevic lived. Both of them were wearing helmets.

“Several moments later, the murderer took his helmet off and approached the entrance of the building, where he rang and invited the victim to come down in front of the building, which is what Vukoslavcevic did”, said the source close to the investigation.

The same source said that the murderer and the victim had a visious argument during which this uknown man pulled out a gun and started shooting at Vukoslavcevic.

12 casings found

“While he was being shot Vukoslavcevic stayed on his feet for a while and even tried to run away. However the murdere finished him of with another shot in the back”, said the reliable source of DN.

During the crime scene investigation which was done by the police and the higher public prosecution, 12 casings of 9 mm caliber were found, which were sent to Forensic center in Danilovgrad for examination.

Bar is under police siege since two nights ago, and investigators believe that there are many clues which will help in solving this murder, which, according to initial information, does not have a ‘signature’ of an organized crime.
