There is no obstacle for US Senate to ratify the Protocol on the Montenegrin accession to NATO, it was announced during the meeting of the political directors of the Bosniak Party (BS), Suljo Mustafic, with State Department officials, Matthew Palmer and Roderick Moore.

Mustafic is visiting Washington at the invitation of members of the US Congress, as a guest of the prayer breakfast.

During the talks with Mustafic Palmer and Moore expressed the full support of reforms and democratic processes in the integration of Montenegro, as well as the strengthening of rule of law institutions in all segments.

“It was noted that the process of Atlantic integration is important for the overall stability of the region, and that Montenegro progressed on that road at very good pace. It was concluded that there are no obstacles to complete the ratification of the Protocol on the Accession of Montenegro to NATO in US Senate and that, through appropriate procedures, the process should be completed in the coming period, “a statement from the Bosniak party said.
