Vukovar County Court, has not been officially notified that the convicted Sasa Sindjelic, was in Montenegro, the court informed Television of Montenegro.
The statement, signed by the President of the Court, Berislav Matanovic, says that if there were prerequisites they would engage in the extradition procedure.
“According to the Law on International Legal Assistance Croatian Minister of Justice submits request for extradition”, said from the court.
Previously, Croatian Ministry of Justice confirmed that in May 2012 Interpol issued red warrant against Sindjelic “for the execution of a single sentence of imprisonment for a term of 21 years for the crimminal offense of first degree murder and aggravated theft”, and that they were interested in his extradition.
