When in November 2014 Hassan Abul Al Rub, a reporter for Palestine state television, talked for the RTCG Portal about harsh living conditions and work in Palestine, hoping for better times and safer future, he did not think that three and a half years later he would be talking to our Public Service again.
This time, however, on the more dramatic developments in his country after the American recognition of Jerusalem for the capital of Israel.
Although it was the first time he heard of our country during the interview for Public Service Portal in 2014, Al Rub is very grateful that Montenegro condemned the decision of US President Donald Trump to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel at the end of last year.
Judging by the wave of violence that followed, it is clear that today, same as three years ago, it is more difficult to be a journalist in Palestine than in any other part of the world.
That is why Al Rub is concerned about the future of his family and the country in which he lives.
Compared to our first encounter in Turkey, today there is less hope in the better tomorrow. To our question what he expects in the coming period, he responds briefly: “Dark Future”.
