Montech & Mr Goju opened the 4th Southern Soul Festival yesterday. The festival will last until July 3rd On Velika plaža in Ulcinj, in the space of Dolcinium Kite Club.
Soul, funk, jazz, disco house were just some of the sounds heard yesterday on two stages – Bar and Organic. DJs were Dom Servini, Spacewalker, Phillie P and legendary Patrick Forge, Kev Beadle, Dee Brown and stars of the night: Rich Medina and Rainer Trueby.
Southern Soul confirms its position as one of the best boutique festivals in this part of Europe. The fact that there were 2000 people from all over the world speaks to this effect.
The second day will have some exciting acts on three stages, such as Ed Motta, Dayne Arocena and Yussef Kamaal trio.
During the festival, the audience will be able to hear acts of Kiko Navarro, Fouk, Ahh, K15, Mike Steva, Tomo Ricov, Joe Davis, Mucho Soul, Paul Murphy and Shuya Okono and Eddy Ramich.
Program of the festival is made by recognized music critics, musicians, DJs from all over the world. Result of great work and research is in the lineup of the festival. It took three years to come to this level of consistency, educational note and contemporary stream of jazz and soul music.
