Former President and member of the Liberal Alliance of Montenegro (LSCG) Ranko Djonovic is the president of the Political Council of Positive Montenegro, it was announced today at a press conference of the Party.
Lider of the Positive Party Darko Pajovic said it was important to them to continue the work on a pro-Western course in peace and stability after the elections, strengthened by new staff. Pajovic announced they are ready for independent performance in the parliamentary elections on 16 October. That, as he said, would be verified by the party authorities.
“After the election, there is no cooperation with those who are annulling the independence of Montenegro, who are against Europe and NATO. Cooperation with others is welcome,” Pajovic said noting that there was no turning from the European course.
Commenting on the issue of border demarcation between Kosovo and Montenegro, Pajovic said that Montenegro has always been a factor of peace and stability in the region.
“We have good relations with everyone, with Kosovo too. And that is how it will remain,” Pajovic said, pointing out that he hoped the border issue would be resolved in a good way.
Djonovic announced that in the Positive Montenegro he recognized a program and the principles set by the Liberal Alliance of Montenegro (LSCG).
