Srzentic dismisses SDP personnel

Mayor of Bar Zoran Srzentic issued new decisions on the organization and operation of local government which includes the removal of all remaining personnel of the Social Democratic Party from leadership positions.

Director of the Agency for investments Omer Vukic was dismissed because this body ceased to exist with a new decision on the organization of local self-government and was incorporated into the Secretariat for the Property. It is now called the Secretariat for Assets and Investments and Vido Dabanovic from the Democratic Party of Socialists was appointed as its supervisor.

Omer Vukic was supposed to be a controller in the Secretariat of Finance, but instead a former member of the New Serbian Democracy and now activist of Demos Savo Vujosevic was appointed.

By the same decision the former Secretariat of General Administration and Social Affairs, which was also headed by the SDP member Boris Mijovic, was divided into two secretariats – Secretariat for Social Affairs with Zorica Djukic to be its acting manager, and the Secretariat of General Administration which will be managed by Svetlana Gazević from DPS.

It is expected the new decisions of the Mayor Srzentic to be adopted at the session.
