Parliamentary Committee for Defence and Security support today,by the votes of the ruling coalition, the Government’s proposal that Dejan Perunicic is to be elected director of the National Security Agency (NSA).
The proposal was supported by deputies of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Social Democratic Party and the Bosniak Party, while against were the Socialist People’s Party MP Snezana Jonica and independent MP Velizar Kaluderovic, while representatives of the Democratic Front and Positive Montenegro did not attend the session.
Representing the work program of the National Security Agency, Perunicic said that it has a reputation as a small but professional, reliable and efficient service, which can contribute to the realization of the strategic interests of the state.
He announced a careful selection in the selection of new staff, where as he said, only the best qualified would have the opportunity to be employed in the NSA.
