The President should not comment on the investigation

President of the country should not comment on cases that are pending before the judicial authorities, said Filip Vujanovic, stating that it must respect the independence of the judiciary and of the presumption of innocence.

When asked to comment on the latest investigation of fraud in Budva, which also includes the son of Svetozar Marovic president of the Political Council of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Vujanovic said he has always had principled attitude which means the respect for the independence of the judiciary.

Asked by journalists whether the investigation harms the reputation of DPS, Vujanovic said he is convinced that the state and each party in its policy should project what is the responsibility of everyone involved in this policy which is always individual, and which is the basis of each individual’s manner of acting.
