Vujanović and Brende: Enough space to improve cooperation with Norway

There is a lot of space for improving cooperation with Norway, especially in economy, said President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović, underscoring our country’s readiness to use this potential.

President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović received Børge Brende, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway.

President thanked Norway for its clear and vocal support in Montenegro’s NATO integration, with an expectation of swift ratification of the Protocol in Norwegian Parliament.

“He underlined NATO integration significance for Montenegro, region and the Alliance itself, as well as a more dynamic pace of EU integration”, it was said in President’s cabinet.

President expressed satisfaction at two countries’ bilateral relations, especially for the support and help in many state projects.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Norway Børge Brende congratulated Montenegro on its ten years anniversary of independence, saying that Norway will be a reliable partner in NATO integration of Montenegro.

He said he expects to see full potential of bilateral cooperation realized, and expressed Norway’s readiness to strengthen the ties.
