President of Montenegro Filip Vujanović said today that he would not be announcing his candidacy for president at the next elections.
He responded to journalists’ question after a celebratory session on the occasion of Andrijevica Municipality Day, saying that he believes he will have a successor who will cherish Montenegrin values.
“I expect that after my mandate, the next President will affirm Montenegro’s values”, he shortly stated.
Vujanović was chosen as a president for the third time at the elections of 2013, when he won with 51,21%, while opposing candidate Miodrag Lekić had 48,79%.
