Several hundred tents are in front of the Parliament of Montenegro. Democratic Front (DF) leaders say that the previous night’s meeting was successful and that they will continue their protests until their demands are met.
They said at the press conference that presidents of Government and Parliament Milo Djukanovic and Ranko Krivokapic, as well as the rest of the opposition, are now on the move.
“We have not invited Djukanovic last night to respond immediately respond but we sent a clear message that we will not disperse until he meets our requirements”, DF’s Milan Knezevic said at a press conference in front of the Parliament building.
Leader of NOVA Andrija Mandic said that last night Montenegro saw action of DF and added that it was their intention to awaken Montenegro, which he says is already yielding results.
“It was the largest political rally since referendum and these people gave us strength, especially those who have remained here”, Mandic said. He reiterated that it is a method that yielded results everywhere in the world.
Mandic said that no gathering in Montenegro was secured like yesterday’s in front of the Parliament.
“The regime is not doing this because they are strong, but because they are weak, they were never weaker”, said Mandic.
Mandic announced new gathering and program in front of the Parliament for 18.30. He pointed out that it is a non-violent struggle against the regime, stressing again that they will stay in front of the Parliament until requirements are met.
“It is important to continue this way until victory”, Mandic said.
