Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic said today in parliament that in the coming year it will be the most important to dynamize the economic growth. Djukanovic said that he is always for the elections if better solutions to address the socio-economic issues of citizens will follow.
Djukanovic reiterated that the economy is in the focus of the Government and that it must stay that way even after the mandate of the Government. The Prime Minister said that the public finances were further consolidated.
“We fixed the payment of taxes in relation to earlier. We have essentialy strengthened the funds of public finances”, said Djukanovic.
Regarding dynamization of economic growth, he said that ‘’these rates of economic growth can not satisfy the ambition of our Balkan society. We should aim for a rate of economic growth of five percent”, he said.
The Prime Minister said that entrepreneurship must be developed.
“Results in the development of entrepreneurship ar missing and the Government believes that the low level of entrepreneurial culture must be repaired by improving the education system”, he said.
The Prime Minister said that in the health sector we must get rid of the problems we have seen recently in Bijelo Polje.
Answering the question of the President of the Socialist People’s Party Srdjan Milic, Djukanovic said that since May 2013 around two million euros was spent for vocational rehabilitation and employment of persons with disabilities.
SNP leader Srdjan Milic said that the Montenegro needs early elections because the government, he said, does not solve the socio-economic problems of citizens.
The Prime Minister said that DPS has never had a negative response on the subject of calling the elections.
