The leader of the Movement for Changes (PzP), Nebojsa Medojevic, said that the Democratic Front (DF) expects the final decision of the Supreme State Prosecutor Ivica Stankovic, which would suspend custody of Medojevic.
The Parliament of Montenegro last night revoked the immunity of Medojevic, at the request of the Special State Prosecutor Milivoje Katnic.
Medojevic said that DF officials organized on-call duty, and that they did not sleep very much in parliament last night.
“Conditions are impossible on chairs, we remain committed and firm to implement our plan to the end. No one contacted us, we expect a reaction from the prosecution today,” Medojevic told the RTCG.
He said that it remains to be seen whether Stankovic will do what the public expects, as was the case with DF officials Andrija Mandic and Milan Knezevic.
“We are here, ready for anything that comes,” said Medojevic.
Asked what would he do if Stankovic did not suspend the warrant, Medojevic said that the decision on further proceedings would be brought to the internal organs.
“Now Supreme State Prosecutor has a huge responsibility to take a look at the overall situation and do what he did in the case of colleagues Mandic and Knezevic. We are waiting to see whether he would proceed in the two same legal matters in the same way or the pressure from (Milo) Djukanovic in this case was much bigger than before, “said Medojevic.
